Run Katie Run is an Atlanta-based Americana/roots-rock band known for its high-energy live shows, rich harmonies, and heartfelt storytelling. Formed in 2019, the band blends elements of folk, rock, and pop with classic Americana textures, creating songs that feel both familiar and fresh.

 

Fronted by Katie Coleman, Run Katie Run builds its sound around catchy melodies, driving rhythms, and emotionally honest lyrics that explore love, loss, resilience, and everyday moments. The band’s arrangements weave together electric and acoustic guitars, banjo, keys, and tight vocal harmonies, resulting in music that’s as engaging on record as it is on stage.

 

The lineup features Katie Coleman (lead vocals, guitars), Adam Pendlington (banjo, guitars, vocals), Ian Pendlington (drums, percussion, keys, vocals), and Stephen Quinn (bass, vocals). Longtime friends and collaborators, the members connected through Atlanta’s open-mic and local music scene, bringing years of shared musical chemistry to the project.

 

Run Katie Run released their debut EP, Running on Love, in 2021, introducing their roots-rock sound and strong songwriting. Their full-length album, Cowboy Boots with Fishnet Tights, followed in 2023, featuring 13 tracks that showcase the band’s dynamic range, lyrical depth, and unmistakable personality.
